Creamy Lemon Parmesan Salad Dressing

Creamy Lemon Parmesan Salad Dressing served and ready to eat.

This creamy lemon Parmesan dressing combines mayonnaise and whole-milk yogurt with grated Parmesan, fresh lemon juice, garlic and Dijon for a homemade dressing that's tangy, savory and rich without requiring a long ingredient list.

A food processor does most of the work: the garlic is chopped first, then everything else is blended until creamy. The finished dressing goes straight into a jar and can be refrigerated for up to one week, making it convenient to have ready for salads.

Why you'll love this creamy lemon Parmesan dressing

Fresh lemon juice brightens the creamy mayonnaise-and-yogurt base, while Parmesan, garlic, Dijon and Worcestershire add savory depth.

The entire dressing comes together in the food processor, so there is very little hands-on preparation and no cooking required.

Why the garlic goes in first

Pulse the garlic by itself before adding the remaining ingredients. Finely chopping it first helps distribute the garlic throughout the dressing instead of leaving larger pieces in the finished mixture.

Storage

Transfer the dressing to a jar and keep it refrigerated when you're not using it. The original recipe specifies that it stays fresh in the refrigerator for up to one week.
