Bread Machine Chocolate Bread

If you love chocolate but don't necessarily want something as sweet as cake, this Bread Machine Chocolate Bread is a fun change from an everyday loaf. Cocoa powder and vanilla give the bread a subtle chocolate flavor while the bread machine takes care of the mixing, kneading, rising and baking.
The finished loaf is soft and lightly sweet rather than rich and sugary, which makes it surprisingly versatile. Enjoy a slice with butter or cream cheese, toast it for breakfast, or turn it into a special dessert with your favorite spread.

Why You'll Love This Bread Machine Chocolate Bread

  • Easy to make. Let the bread machine handle the kneading, rising and baking.
  • Lightly chocolatey. Cocoa and vanilla provide chocolate flavor without turning the loaf into an overly sweet dessert bread.
  • Soft texture. Whole milk and egg help create a soft, tender loaf.
  • Simple ingredients. Everything you need is readily available at most grocery stores.
  • Versatile. Serve it for breakfast, as a snack or even as dessert.
