

Goat Cheese & Fig Crostini with Balsamic Glaze

Method
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the baguette into 18, ½ inch slices. Place on the baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Place the baking sheet into the oven, on the middle rack. Bake for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn the oven to broil and broil for one minute until the tops of crostini are golden. Take out of oven.
- In a small mixing bowl, add the goat cheese, lemon zest, honey and dried thyme. Mix all till combined. Spread the crostini with the goat cheese mixture. Top with a few slices of figs. Sprinkle the figs with finishing salt. Drizzle the crostini with balsamic and enjoy!
