Place the ingredients in the pan of your bread machine in the order listed above.
Set to 1 ½ pound loaf, soft bread, medium crust. This bakes for 3 hours and 11 minutes in my machine.
When done, turn it out onto a cooling rack to cool completely before slicing.
This bread will last 3-4 days on your counter in a zip loc bag. You can also freeze this bread for up to 2 months.
Note: For a fluffy loaf, spoon your flour into your measuring cups and then level off.
The vital wheat gluten will give your bread the elasticity and chew that will keep you going back for another slice.
